Why the name Yellow Breeches Chapter?

Because so many of our members live near and draw inspiration from the beautiful Yellow Breeches Creek, we named ourselves the Yellow Breeches Chapter of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.

Who is the Yellow Breeches Chapter?

Our members represent all areas and levels of involvement in the world of fine craft. We count potters, jewelers, woodworkers, metal artisans, glass artists, gallery owners, and collectors – to name a few – among our ranks.

Why join the Yellow Breeches Chapter?

Share the camaraderie and enjoy the opportunity to learn from and be inspired by a wildly diverse and talented group of characters. Play a role in keeping fine craft vibrant in our community.

Who is eligible to join the Yellow Breeches Chapter?

Anyone with an interest in fine craft is welcome to join us. If you are a professional artist, a budding artist, or are interested in learning about, talking about, appreciating, and supporting fine craft in Central Pennsylvania, we were made for each other – in our case – hand made!

Our Meetings

Our meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 7pm. We currently meet at the Carlisle Arts Learning Center (CALC) located in downtown Carlisle at 38 W Pomfret St, Carlisle, PA 17013.

Visitors are welcome at all meetings and we are always happy to accept new members. Check our Facebook Page for up-to-date meeting information.

PLEASE NOTE: The July meeting is our annual YBC Members’ Picnic and the December meeting is our annual YBC Members’ Holiday Party which are both held at another location.  If you just joined the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen or are new to the Yellow Breeches Chapter, please contact chapter President, Thomas Bank (ybc.pgc.president@gmail.com), for details on time, location, and what to bring.
